As artists we often put our own passion projects on the back burner to focus on jobs and gigs that are paying our bills. As a result, we often experience burn out and fatigue that make it difficult to touch on our own creations. With the attacks happening on art today, especially any art that reflects lived experiences and ideals opposed to the current administration in the U.S., it is more important than ever to foster spaces and opportunities for artists to create.

The goal of The Helper Collective is to provide designated time and space for artists to work on their projects: outside the noise of the city, away from our daily schedules and life stressors, and in community with other like-minded artists of different mediums.
