SPARC

In the scenic and wooded mountains of the Poconos in upstate Pennsylvania, our 5-day 4-night artist retreat is just a 2 hour 15 minute drive from NYC, or a 5 hour drive from Boston.

Who is the retreat for?

SPARC (Sanctuary for Practice, Art, Reflection and Community) is for any artist who creates their own art and has a passion project they want time and space to work on: Playwrights, novelists, children’s book writers, screenwriters, artist-historians, songwriters, musicians, poets, rappers, dancer/choreographers, comedians, culinary artists, painters, photographers, videographers, other visual artist mediums, etc.

Our space can accommodate small cohorts of between 3-6 artists. This allows us to keep our work intimate while still cultivating community and de-emphasizing performance. The focus of each session is to be in process rather than focusing on a polished final product.

Applicants must be 21+
